Who is Megg?

Hello, I am Megg.

I’m a mom and entrepreneur passionate about self-expression and empowering women through hair. I believe that motherhood shouldn’t dictate how you present yourself—age, relationship status, or career should never limit your style. When your hair looks great, it raises your confidence and outlook on life.

Frustrated by the lack of vibrant, human hair-quality extensions, I realized the market needed vivid, natural-looking options that could easily be styled. That’s why I launched my online store, specializing in stunning, colorful vibrant hair extensions designed for all humans who want to express themselves.

But my mission doesn’t stop there! My clients ask for the best products for their hair and extensions without the extra chemicals. Most plant-based products didn't get the same clean feeling, and none were safe for vivid hair colors. I saw a need for a versatile hair care line that works for everyone, including those with allergies like me. It surprised me how many products were not gluten free, because it does make a difference. My product line is crafted to be safe and effective, no matter how you choose to express yourself. Hair care you can feel good about using. What is the difference between synthetic and human hair extensions?

Synthetic hair extensions are made from synthetic fibers and can look artificial or plastic. Our hair is made from keratin which is the main protein found in your natural hair.

Why not human hair?

When you order human hair in bulk you never really know where it comes from. It may tell you a location but there's no way to know for sure. Often times woman in poor countries are held down and their hair is stolen. It can be violent or even deadly. We want to provide the best quality hair without creating the demand for human hair.

With 100% Remy hair you can apply heat and style the same way as you would your natural hair. It will often hold a curl better then natural hair with less heat.

How do I care for my hair extensions?

You must wash with vivid safe shampoo & conditioner with cold water only when necessary. Just remember heat opens the cuticle and releases the color, Cold keeps the cuticle closed and the color where it should be. Dry shampoo is your best friend. Clip in hair doesn't get the same natural oils as your real hair so no need to wash them as regularly.

Let air dry but make sure the clip doesn't stay wet as it will rust. You can use small amounts of styling products as needed. A light oil is recommended. (Remy hair will feel dry and course without it)

You can blow dry or use hot tools in moderation. Your real hair can heal, the extensions do not.

It is recommended not to sleep with clip in extensions when possible.

Absolutely no chlorine/ saltwater pools.

What is a clip-in hair extension?

Clip in hair extensions are a quick easy way to add volume and/ or thickness to most hair.

The hair is attached to a small clip that blends into your real hair to add the illusion of more hair.

Megg's hair is designed to add a pop of color to any hair type.

When do I need them?

Megg's hair extensions can be worn every day or to add a pop of color for a special occasion with no commitment or damage to your natural hair. Wear them whenever you want to express yourself differently than your normal hair.

What is Black Seed Oil?

Comes from the Nigella Sativa Plant. Contains antioxidants, fatty acids, antimicrobics and anti-inflammatory to help repair and protect your hair and skin. Often used to help with Eczema, Psoriasis, and other common skin conditions. Contains Omega 3 & Omega 6 which helps your skin hold onto moisture.

Why use oatmeal for haircare?

oatmeal is a natural skin protectant that contains beta- glucans which help support heathy, and strong hair growth. Also contains antioxidants which fight against environmental factors such as smog, sun, dry winter air.

What is Sorbitol?

Sorbitol is made from fruit sugar to create lather in soaps and other skincare products. Holds moisture when shampoo is being stored before use.

Why rice bran oil?

Rice bran oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids, promoting hair health. It helps nourish and condition the hair, making it smoother and shinier. The oil also contains oryzanol, which protects hair from Uv rays.

What and Why Glycerin?

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts and retains moisture preventing dryness and frizz. Glycerin also aids in detangling. Also aids in detangling and enhance the elasticity in the hair.

Why safflower oil?

Safflower oil is rich in oleic acid, which is an omega-9 fatty acid. This fatty acid helps to moisturize and nourish the hair and scalp, providing hydration to dry or damaged hair. Safflower oil contains vitamin E, which is known for its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help protect the hair from environmental damage, such as UV rays and pollution. It can complement the effects of other oils, conditioners, and active ingredients, contributing to a well-balanced product.
